We predict 527

By Site Administrator - Posted on 10 September 2008

Mathematical projections at Freedom Chambers suggest that based on the current homcide figures, that by year's end T&T will see between 510 and 527 homicides. (See the attached graph). Will you or someone you know be a statistic?

The figure boggles the mind, to say the least. We believe that our mathematical model is correct.  Readers may copy our graph to friends and family, or print and distribute (by lawful means).

Projected Homicide Rate for 2008

See it? Feel it? Read it: Trinidad Express 2008-08-19 - or ignore it. It's all too common now on Monkey Rock. BTW was it you who was jumpin' up dong in Woodford Square recently supporting a headless regime dat responsible for dis kinda crap.

I express my condolences to the families of the victims, knowing that it won't help one jot.

...we steppin' up wid the "leader-less regime" of the PNM, to the "New Norm" in good ole T&T...the Land of Milk & Honey...???

...somewhere between the shootings and killings, the robberies and rapes, the ducking and hiding, the kidnappings and the ransoms, the murders and the hijackings, the wakes and the funerals, and bawling and crying, and even the marchings and waving placards and shoutings and jumpin' up and protests...for food, health care, help for floods and education, security and policing...and the list goes on and on and on .....!...

...maybe somewhere between all this mayhem, the people will find time to pause and reflect on their lives and their illustrious leader, the same one who they called "prince" and "father" and "preacher" and the many, many other "wonderful names" they find so easily to lay praise on him, and ask themselves the question..."why me lord, why me...?"..."where is the promised land of milk and honey...when will I ever touch or taste or see it in this life...?" or maybe the next one, because the bullets flying so fast these days...even if you go out for your "last supper", hold the chicken please...its too dangerous out there..?

...like I said the last time, its so hard to feel sorry for people who don't seem to feel sorry for themselves, because if they only set up some tents and play some music and give out some free food and rum, and the "bus driver" walks around strutting his stuff to them, they forget in an instant all this pain and suffering...until the next "wake and funeral" and it start up all over again....!

...so in the meantime, my sincere condolences to the family of these victims...its happening all too often, too many wakes and funerals...but nobody cares...so in the meantime remember who help to put the "victims there to begin with...."!

...but like "chickens" they will all tend to forget as soon as they throw out some more free food and music and another wine and jam....more fete for so till the next time around...!

...so praise the "bus driver" ..."the preacher" or the "sneaky snake oil salesman" , whichever....it's all the same to me...so have a care folks...you now steppin up wid the "godfather", steppin up to the new norm in good ole T&T...!...but what a life of pain and sorrow for the people....what a way to live...? ...but then like they say, we Trinis like it so...!

...goodluck...Trini.t.o.o

Looks like 527 will be an accurate prediciton after all.

Hollywood star Philbert James gettin' concerned and calling on people to be patient. Why? Why should anybody be patient with this stinking mess?

See: Newsday 2008-09-20

387 and rising

Imagine you come home and you find your wife hog tied, dead, blood pouring from a hole in the back of her head.

It cyah be you? Why because you have steel cage rong yuh house?

See dis one: Newsday 2008-09-20 - look at dey faces. Not a pleasant sight. Doh tell meh - i's not Manning and he merry men fault. Good - well give 'im private jet, maan! Leh he fly rong in style while you ketch yuh ninnen or get dead.

Mr Lakraj, we are sorry for your loss.

Well I declare...when I saw the picture below, I was dumstruck for hours by the stupidity of it.

At first I saw "Bloody night" etc...about some murders. Then I see a woman looking like she's in her thirty's skinnin' a big grin. How does that fit togedda? It don't there are two conflicting themes - obviously 'severe tragedy' and 'joy'. Eet jes doh fit. Evidence of a confused media, representing the values of a confused people. It's not particular to Newsday. It happens all the time with the Guardian and Express.

...so this is PNM Country...the Preacherman's Promised Land of Milk & Honey...?...if this is what he had in mind, then "we reach" my friends..."we reach"...!..".we stepped up wid Patrick and we reach"...!..yeah man...!...he delivered just like he promised...!...a man of his word...!...a man of "moral & spiritual values"...!...so if this is the Land of Milk and Honey...where's Patrick...?

...well my friends, they say he hiding out in his $278 million mansion, with his 75 plus hand-picked personal body guards, asking Parliament for more money to do more landscaping around the mansion, to put in a "rose garden" , just like the one the U.S President Bush has at the "White House", and to put in a "Cascading Waterfall" in the mansion all for the comfort of his guests, and all this will make the setting look better and more relaxing for when visitors come by, to see his Private Jet parked outside...you remember the "$500 million Private Jet", no...?...the failed or aborted purchase...no...the VAPS that he almost pulled off on the people ...no...??

...all the while me and you and the rest of the country ketching we "nennen" for food, with bullets flying left right and centre, and he comfy and cosy "secured" in his mansion...surrounded all along by his 75 or so hand-picked personal body guards...!

...take a good look at the graph going back to 2000, eight years ago when he took power under the guise of bringing "moral & spiritual values"...the number of murders in 1999 was 93...yes, and I think 98 people were killed in good ole T&T in 2000...!

...now, take a second look at the years rolling by from then onwards...year 2000 and onwards...it's increasing every year and over 2,500 people killed since then to now...up to this time 387 and more...and we are not even involved in fighting a war anywhere like some of the other countries...like the United States of America and Canada and Britain and France...the NATO countries who are fighting wars against terrorists since 2001in Iraq, Afghanistan and collectively have not lost that many soldiers, and they ARE fighting a war...!

...in the civilized countries, criminals and "gang leaders" are arrested and put in prison for life, put away for the security and protection of its citizens...but not in good ole T&T, here they are called "community leaders" and wined and dined at five star hotels and given lucrative million dollar contracts to behave and be good boys by senior members of our government regime....boy what rewards for being "crooks" & "gang leaders" and "hoodlums"...?

...recently their were reports that all or most of the "community leaders" who shook Patrick's hand were now all dead, shot and killed...boy ...talk about being careful who you shake hands with...as the saying goes,..."with friends like that who needs enemies eh...???!

...so yes my friends, every day you pick up the papers, you getting to see a "daily dose" of the promised "Milk & Honey"...no food yes, no water, no roads, no education, no medicine or health care, but a steady dose of lead poisoning (bullets) eating away at our people one by one slowly but surely, just like the man has a plan...?

...so yes, my condolences go out to the Lackraj family on their loss, none of our citizens should have to live in a mess like this created by our government regime of today, ...none...!

...but more importantly, none of our citizens should have to die like this...Mrs. Lackraj included...!...

...to the Lackraj's family and relatives, not only my condolences, but my sincere apology on behalf of all the people of our country for sitting by idly and allowing "a governmental regime", to fall into such decay and disrepair, and to degenerate and become so non-caring and callous towards its hard working citizens...all with such arrogance and disrespect for its people...!

...a governmental regime who is standing by silently and allowing such cowardly acts to be taken daily against its citizens...all the while living in the comfort and luxury of the wealth of the people...but not caring a fig about their well being or safety....!

...their only interest and passion is focused on what they can get for themselves...how much will satisfy their bloated egos...!

...some Moral & Spiritual values...some "leader-less" Leader... !...wake up my friends, beware of the carrier of false promises, even if he calls himself a "preacher-man" and quotes the "scripture"...beware of the "promised Land of Milk and Honey"...it may just be a trap...so don't get caught in it...!

...when we get some quiet moment to think and reflect, take a good look at the faces, the pain and suffering and shock on them  and ask yourself the question...How long will this go on...?...or allowed to go on...?...Who will be the next "statistic" on the "Front Page" of tomorrow's newspapers...ask yourselves the question seriously folks...let it not be you...but where's Patrick...???!

...goodluck...Trini.t.o.o

"I have a son..I have a son.." - these are the last words of a man dying of 21 stab wounds.

My heart bleeds for the murdered Hayden Ross, his family and his three year old son.

Ross was on his way home from National Flour Mills in Port-of-Spain after a late shift. He was abducted and taken to Carlsen Field where he was stabbed to death. He managed to crawl for help. Police arrived and were concerned about identifying the vehicle that he was in.

Ross apparently died en route to a Chaguanas Health Facility. After four or five stabs to the body your chances of surviving the exsanguination of blood is pretty slim. Ross having been stabbed some 20 times had mere seconds to live after being discovered, unless he had received immediate and expert medical attention.

The TT Express 2008-09-28 tells us that only 50 of the 401 homicides for this year have been solved. Mind you, solving homicides does not bring back the dead - we all know that - but keep that obvious point in mind. So what does 50 our of 400 - a mere 1 in 8 - a mere 12.5% mean? What you doh know what dat means? Well eef you don't, you are as duncey as the law enforcment agencies that are meant to protect our nation - and their administration!

But I'll help you out - it means that there is an abject failure of crime detection and law enforcement in T&T. Now you tell me - who the hell is directly responsible for that failure? God? Come nah man! Doh make fun wid a serious matter. Drugs? Boy, some people really cyah see further dan dey nose. Leh meh tell you like it is - it is a failure of your government! Daize it (aka That's it). Now go jump up in Woodford Square and march rong wid placard etc. and chant for your leader.

Jes remember one thing, you might have a child. You might know somebody who has a child. And you are the child of somebody. So burn Hayden Ross's dying words in your brain, "I have a son".

...another senseless killing, another brutal assault on the "hard-working citizens" of our country while our non-caring and heartless governmental regime "sit on their hands" and talks a lot, but do sweet nothing for the people...as only they can "suck and blow at the same time", and blow they can except all "hot air"...!

...another son has lost his hard-working and caring father to criminals running wild and free in our once lovely Land of "Milk and Honey", sweet ole Trinidad & Tobago...where have you gone...?..we miss you ...!...but who cares..?...not our government, they have "other priorities" that does not include the ordinary working folks because they are insulated from it all, at your and my expense...courtesy of all the "freebies given by the people to keep them at the trough..."!

...a son who will never be able to see or speak to or touch and feel the warmth and love of his father, who speaks for you now...?

...it is my hope that those around you will "step up" just like Patrick said and provide the care and nurturing which you will surely need from here on, and that the "people will come to their senses" and ask their "so called leaders of government" the hard questions as to why this has to be a "daily event in our lives"?... why this has to be happening at all...?.. while they who have all these "Moral & Spiritual Values" can go to bed and sleep soundly, all without having a conscience or empathy for the people who keep them living in the lap of luxury, far from our lowly peons...in the Land of Milk and Honey...?!

....my condolences to Hayden Ross's family for this unsuspecting tragedy thrust upon your otherwise peaceful lives, and my apology to "the son" for the future we as a people have made for you in this "Land of Milk and Honey"...I

...I hope that when you grow up, you will take a close look at your government of today and ask the hard question...why me...?...what have you done to deserve this at your tender age of three...?  ...and what have they done about it...???

...and truly hope they all hang their collective heads in shame...that is if they have any Moral & Spiritual values at all ...!!!

...peace and happiness unto you in your difficult journey ahead...yet another son without a father in the promised "Land of Milk and Honey..."!...where's Patrick now...?

...goodluck...Trini.t.o.o

See how dis woman bawling and asking God for justice: Newday 2008-10-08

I am sad for her. Unfortunately she cries out to a God that will not intervene in the affairs of T&T.

And there is another 'God' aiming to rule the whole Caribbean while people suffer. When will Trinbagonians wake up? You are an oppressed people anaesthetised  with oil dollars, empty promises of the land of milk and honey, and that 'the Godfather' loves you.

Wake up and ask yourselves a question. 'Is this what I bargained for?'

...my sincere condolences to Kandan's wife Pulmatie Boodoo and the family...!

...but God does not have the answer to your question, you have to ask the people who should have all the answers, that is the PNM Government regime, the Prime Minister, the Minister of National Security, as well as the Cabinet Members and the PNM Members of Parliament...collectively, they are the ones who have the answers...God is not running the country, these are the people who are elected to do so, and they are the ones who are responsible for the present state of the country and charged with the responsibility for providing security to its citizens...not God...!

...if God gives you comfort, peace of mind, assurance and guidance to bear these heavy burdens being placed upon you by the "incompetence of your government officials", then by all means seek it out, for you need all the help you can get at this trying times of your life, but by no means wait or depend on the Government, as that time will never come, as you very well realize by now...!

...it's reassuring to notice the resident's comment that  Ramphal was described as "hardworking, kind and loving"...!

It was further reassuring to note that your son, Satesh who delivered the eulogy, described his step-father as being his own dad. “Although he was my step-dad, we were very close, I considered him to be my own father. I loved him. He was hardworking and dedicated to seeing about my mum and us. He was such a soft hearted person and would have always gone out of his way to help others in need,” he said.

...it was good to know that he was not described as "in a gang or gang related", or "in the URP or CEPEP related activities", or "it was drug related," and that he was not a "community leader" as they are sometimes described by the Government Leaders...!

...he was just a plain "hard working" dedicated and responsible husband, father and citizen, who was abandoned and neglected by his government to face the criminals roaming at large in our country today, some of whom may have been wined and dined in fancy hotels at some time by the very same inept government of the day...!

...hold on to your beliefs and hopefully you too will be able to overcome this tragedy with the help of your son and the rest of your family, for "this too will come and pass"...!

...and hopefully some good day, your Bobby will find some mysterious way to convey and finish his message to you when he said, "I would be home soon and when I come I will tell you everything.”

...so don't wait for the "lame duck Government Officials to provide you help", but do "make them provide you answers" at every opportunity  you get, as they are the ones who should have all the answers, "not God", and especially for the ones who walk around pretending to be "pastors" and "fathers of and leaders of the nation" and who are merely false prophets selling "pipe dreams" and "fairy tales", all of which no one will ever see, not in this lifetime anyway....!

...keep up your spirits and those around you...your burden is heavy and the journey is long...but you will survive...may God be with you...!

...good luck...Trini.t.o.o

This is the face of hopelessness, anger, sorrow, and futility! Look into the eyes of Nirmala Malini Persad - or not! What do you see? I see a woman let down by the people and goverment of T&T to say the least.  (See the story here: Newsday 2008-10-09). Not jes one government but by successive goverments. Governments obsessed with their own sense of self-importance.

Nirmala, I shed a tear for you and your deceased family. Will Patrick Manning, Basdeo Panday or Dookeran & Co shed a tear for you. Sure thing. But they like me eh go do nuthin for you. At least I have a reasonable excuse; that I 5000 miles away - and I not charged with shaping the country.

Whilst you grieve - and I empathise with you - there is something that you said that is factually incorrect. You said "God wanted you more, he had better plans for you." This is grossly incorrect when you refer to Sanjay. God - no loving god - would submit people to such a horrific death. Vijay - presumed dead - died not because God willed it. He is dead because of the wickedness of man - and that facilitated by a headless uncaring regime. That is the cold hard truth. You, your family and all of Trinidad had better wake up to cold and hard reality. Stop selling yourselves self-consoling untruths.

Nirmala, use your the sense of injustice you feel to drive forward change, but by all means face reality! Turn the loss of your family - your loss - to something worthwhile. Make them proud. Godspeed.

...Malini, firstly, my condolences to you and those that are left in your family, and like Captain Walker, I too shed a tear for you and your family, but thats all I can do...!

...but this is not the work of God, nor even the will of God, for God is a good God...! this is the work of evil men with criminal minds, who are allowed to roam free at will by an uncaring and incompetent government regime, and to carry out these heinous and cowardly crimes on society at large....and unfortunately in this case, you and your family paid the ultimate price...they with their very lives...and you with the burden of carrying on without them...with only the memories...!

...it is a national shame and disgrace that criminals are allowed to prey on hard working citizens as your parents, first to kidnap your brother Vijay at such a young age of ten some four years ago, and now to destroy whats left of your family  with impunity, and all in one fell swoop, to "impose this sentence for life" on you, at such a tender age of 18 to carry this heavy burden on your shoulders for the rest of your life...! No God would do this to you or your family...No God would do this to Sanjay, and only the good Lord knows the true fate of Vijay right now...! No, no God would do this to you and your family, for God is not uncaring, but your government regime is...!

... so after all of the crying and tears, and pains and suffering, and heartaches and sorrow that you are presently going through for your enormous loss, and after all is said and done, ...and when you are sufficiently able to pause and look back to reflect on all of this, and to look at facing the harsh reality of life ahead of you, for your young child and your husband...and your future....!

... take a cold hard look at your so called elected leaders of government and ask them what the $50 billion dollar budget will do for you and your family now...? Or what the multi million dollar crime fighting blimp "Eye in the Sky" airship is doing for you...? Or the $178 million dollar Palace the Prime Minister built for himself with his seventy five or more personal body guards doing for you...? Or the $100 million dollars for 200 Executive Limousines, or the $503 million dollars for Summit Leaders spending next year is doing for you and your family now...?  or the Billion Dollar Brian Lara Stadium ...? or the many Billion Dollars wasted that could have helped to save your family from the criminals who perpetrated this cowardly act on your family...and you...?!

....if there is the need to place your trust in God, then so be it...for the "so called leaders" of today cannot be trusted, but at some point reach deep down for that inner strength and the will to survive and "be the change that you would like to see in this world", even in the face of and despite such gross injustice, to you and your family...believe you can...and you will...!

...my prayers are with you and may the God you believe in and trust, walk with you each step of the way, for we all know its such a long difficult journey ahead...!

...goodluck...Trini.t.o.o

Well it's another sad day in Paradise. An elderly Swedish couple who made Tobago partly their home were hacked to death. The scene was described as a 'bloodbath'. See the gruesome details here: Newsday 2008-10-10. And guess what Joseph Ross ha' tuh say? How i's ah isolated incident. Look nah man - daize pure crap!Ah want a gun dat does shoot goat pellets.. den put meh in firing range of Joseph Ross!Yuh know is dis kinda t'ing dat does get me hoppin' mad. So Joseph Ross jump up an' gih dee word dat it isolated. ...and...and...like we suppose tuh believe dat? And be calmed by dat? Garbage!! Utter garbage!Mr Ross you sound like  fool in my opinion. These should have been your words:'I will ensure that I bring my influence to bear on the investigation of this utterly contemptible crime. Tobago is a paradise and we in goverment must be seen to be acting to protect it and all who live in, or visit the island. Whilst this kind of twin homicide is an uncommon event here in Tobago, I will work closely with my ministerial colleagues to ensure that Tobago remains a place that people can enjoy, free of fear. I will deliver on this.'

Will you adopt the Ostrich position? Yes - bury your heads now. For those who dare, look at that photo below. It says it all. What is Trinidad & Tobago doing to its people!!! What did this child do to deserve this pain. This is the face of Nalini Chaitram (niece of the murdered Allan Seepersad). See Guardian 2008-10-15.

Death before breakfast

I guess those who live in sprawling mansions don't see these photographs - and if they do dey couldn' cyare less. When you have more important things to do like buying fancy cars fuh big summit, you cyah be bothered with average people being slaughted in cold blood. I really wonder if those who outvoted the vote of no-confidence have anyt'ing to say about all dis? Ah mean tuh say dey real quiet boy. Ah wavin' a red flag to all a dem out dey. Come een here leh meh fix allyuh up good and proper. Tell meh how good dee PNM running dee country - right here, right now!!

“I LOVE YOU...I am going!” Those were final words Allan Seepersad whispered to his daughter Sally, moments before he died on the ground of his Penal home after being shot by bandits on Tuesday....!

...as reported by the newsmedia, this was the final parting gift of a devoted father to his daughter, something she will no doubt cherish and hold dear to her for the rest of her life...after all, this is what she has left of him after the bandits were done...!

...to Sally, Deera, Nalini and the rest of his family, I too shed a tear, and my sincerest condolences to you all, in this most difficult time of your life...!

...Nalini, your most dearest Uncle will not return, or to Sally, your father, or to Deera, your husband, but not because of his fault...he did what any decent father or uncle or husband would do, he fought off the bandits to give his family a fighting chance to "survive" and he paid for it with his own life, something you all should be proud of and always remember, for as long as it takes...!

...but who are these "maggots", these "vermins", these "low life", these "parasites" who are allowed to prowl the communities and prey on society as a whole, while living off the avails of their crime that they have snatched away from our hardworking and decent citizens...? Who are they...?

...and where is our Government and its Ministers who are all mouth and no action...where are they and what are they doing except to pocket a fat salary and "live off" the taxpayers themselves, just like the other parasites, all the while doing nothing about it...!

...somewhere a while back, I read a saying, it might have been Dalai Lama, or Gandhi, I'm not sure, but it said "wealth without labour was a sin...",  and so its was a relief to know that Allan Seepersad was a hard working and thriving businessman, and not on CEPEP or URP, or Drugs or Gang related or was a "Community Leader" dependant on Government hand-outs, although his hard work and success was perhaps the major cause of his demise...!

...your Government, the PNM Government, does not care...right from the Leader right down to the Ministers...as you can see, they are more interested in $100 million dollar executive limousines, $503 million dollar get togethers of Heads of State - pappyshow, Billion dollar stadiums and Tall Buildings, but nothing for the people...what do they care...?

...as one of the villagers is reported as saying..."villager Arnold Rampersad said most people only had good things to say about Seepersad."

“Is only the good people nowadays getting killed, not the evil ones,” Rampersad said.

...so once more, the Government, this PNM Government, has "imposed" upon you all a life sentence, and my hope is that you will all rise up to the occasion, and accept this challenge you face, to continue on with dignity, perseverance and resolve, to carry on where Allan left off, and to continue to make a better life for yourselves and the family, even under severe adverse conditions...!

...for as you all are well aware, you won't expect to see any help coming from your PNM government, in fact they are the very ones and the reasons why you are in the position you're in today...their total neglect and abandonement of the security and well being of the citizens of the country, you all included...hopefully, you will overcome this barrier with time...hard as it may be for now...!

...support yourselves and each other, and your strength will come from that and grow, and to the likes of Sally and Nalini, our hope for the future generations, will never forget this passing moment, which should serve as a beacon and guide for mapping out the future, such a heavy burden placed upon you at such an early age by such an uncaring government of the day...!

...and in time, ..believe in yourselves no matter what...and with determination, you all will overcome...!

...goodluck...Trini.t.o.o

Yes cover yuh face...doh watch dat picture. Yuh fed up...yuh know yuh powerless. So jes go away and wait for your piece o' lead to find yuh!

Face of agony

Doh read the full story in Newsday  2008-11-10 and 2008-11-11. Console yuh self and say "Boy, when yuh time come eet come....yuh have tuh live life and be merry...whuh we suppose' tuh do - stop goin' dong dee islands?"

You real sure dat couldna be you takin' bullet dong dee islands, eh.

Whilst I share the relatives suffering - I harden my heart and say, those who stay will have to pay - pay with their lives!

Build dat raft!

Amazingly the murder rate is actually predicted by the Express 2008-11-10 to hit 540 by year's end!! That is actually more than five times the murder rate in 1999!!

What do we do now? Drink a rum and a puncha creme....drink a rum! We ass dark!

Ah doh suppose - eef you listen to dee likes of Tattoo - dat dee govament have any responsibility for dee kinda murder rates we seeing in dee las' five years? Blame it on drugs and gyangs (aka gangs). Ooooh noooooh it couldn't possibly be headless governance of a whole nation - could it?

Whey is dee land o' milk an' honey? Me cyah see it no whay in sight! Could ah diehard PNM supporter help meh out tuh see what dey see? Please.
